Job summary

Staff Financial Group, a rapidly growing, multi-location organization, seeks an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function from our U.S.-based corporate office. You will own close, reporting, treasury, tax compliance, controls, audits, and systems.

This hands-on leader will build scalable processes, mentor a high-performing team, and translate financial results into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license in good standing required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606/842.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including GL, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Independently prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements and reports.
• Lead annual financial statement audits and coordinate with external auditors.
