Job summary

United Sports Brands seeks a senior financial leader to oversee global accounting, consolidation, and reporting. The Controller will manage month-end close, audits, tax coordination, and treasury activities for our consumer products business.

The role requires hands-on leadership of a ~10-person finance team, with previous experience in multi-entity environments and ERP systems. The position is based in Costa Mesa, CA with some travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in all aspects of finance and accounting including extensive inventory management, A/P, A/R, tax, cash flow, cost control, analysis and reporting.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA required.
• Consumer Products industry experience with inventory accounting for Asia sourcing and global distribution is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead General Accounting, Inventory Cost Accounting, Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
• Manage global consolidation and reporting of actuals; maintain multi-entity trial balances and monthly close.
• Oversee Financial Statement Audit, internal controls and compliance.
• Drive ERP upgrade and AI-enabled automation of accounting processes.
• Support bank negotiations, tax compliance, and insurance portfolio management.
• Guide ERP implementation teams and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
