Job summary

Amer Sports is seeking a Director, Financial Controller (Corporate) to oversee corporate controllership across its brands from the NYC office. You will manage the end-to-end close, ensure IFRS-compliant financial reporting, and standardize processes across geographies while partnering with Brand Controllers and the CAO.

The role requires 12+ years in accounting, a CPA, and Big 4 background, with a focus on multi-entity group reporting, SOX controls, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification or equivalent required.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and SOX compliance experience.
• Experience leading cross-brand/multi-entity finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end financial close for corporate entities with accurate P&L and balance sheets.
• Ensure alignment between corporate results and group consolidation statements.
• Lead policy translation into practical close procedures across entities.
• Partner with Brand Controllers and CAO on governance and escalations.
• Drive standardization of close processes and journal controls.
• Support internal and external audits and remediation efforts.
