Job summary

USG is seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead accounting, reporting, treasury, and internal controls across U.S. and offshore locations.

Reporting to the CFO, you will build a high-performing team, implement scalable processes, and drive automation to support growth. The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic partnership with executive leadership, and the ability to roll up sleeves to solve complex business challenges while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience.
• 5+ years leadership as Financial Controller or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits, tax compliance, multi-state operations, and cash management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions including General Ledger, AP/AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare timely, accurate financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Develop executive financial reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Ensure integrity and completeness of financial records and policies.
• Oversee payroll accounting and regulatory reporting.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and controls supporting growth.
