Job summary

Alpaca, a US-headquartered global broker-developer, is seeking a Director of Global Corporate Actions Operations and Oversight to own end-to-end processes across markets and scale controls globally.

You will lead corporate actions events, establish maker-checker frameworks, drive automation and risk management, and partner with Security Master, Trading, Ledger, Product, and Ops to reduce manual work and ensure accurate, timely processing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Corporate Actions experience within a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custodian, bank, or comparable financial institution.
• Prior leadership experience managing a Corporate Actions or securities operations function.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions, including dividends, reorganizations, splits, mergers, tenders, rights, redemptions, elections, entitlements, and security lifecycle events.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Corporate Actions across mandatory and voluntary events across markets.
• Establish and own the supervisory framework with maker-checker standards, control gates, reconciliations, and evidence of review.
• Drive automation, observability, reconciliation, and exception tooling to reduce manual processing and scale operations.
