Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Director, Global Corporate Actions Operations and Oversight to own end-to-end functions across U.S. and international markets.

This leader will supervise daily production, controls, and the scalable operating model for Corporate Actions globally. You will lead the Corporate Actions organization across events, implement maker-checker controls, and drive automation and risk mitigation across Front, Back, and middle office systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Corporate Actions experience in a broker-dealer, clearing firm, or bank.
• Previous leadership of a Corporate Actions or securities operations function.
• Deep knowledge of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions events.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. market infrastructure (DTCC/DTC).
• International Corporate Actions experience across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Corporate Actions across mandatory and voluntary events.
• Establish and own the supervisory framework with maker-checker standards.
• Ensure accurate, timely processing with supervisory and system checks.
• Own incidents from containment to remediation and permanent control.
• Partner with Security Master, Trading, Ledger, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
• Drive automation, observability, reconciliation, and tooling.
• Build a common global operating model across markets and currencies.
• Develop the Corporate Actions team and succession coverage.
