Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a seasoned Corporate Accounting Leader to guide the global close, drive automation and AI initiatives, and scale the accounting function for a high-growth software company. This role partners with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT, and Engineering and reports to the Senior Director, Assistant Controller at the Palo Alto HQ.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in corporate accounting, CPA, deep US GAAP expertise, and strong leadership to mentor teams including offshore shared services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting, Big 4 and high-growth tech preferred.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge,SOX controls, and external audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the global close process with AI/automation.
• Develop accounting positions and review memos for ambiguous scenarios.
• Mentor corporate accounting team and offshore shared services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
• Ensure SOX/internal controls readiness and timely external audits.
