Job summary

Sony Music Publishing, part of the Sony family, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Administrator in the United States. Based in Nashville, you will manage international client and song data, maintain accounts, and learn proprietary data tools while aligning with registration timelines and workflows.

You will collaborate across teams, use JIRA platforms, and support large catalog projects. Strong analytical skills and Excel experience are valued in a fast-paced publishing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• 7.5-hour business workday but extended hours for events.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Strong focus and analytical abilities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Initiative with questions and research.
• Good communication and timely responses.
• Ability to ask well-constructed questions and research.

• Familiarity with Excel/Outlook/Teams/Word.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day entry and maintenance of international Sony & EMI affiliate client and song data.
• Create and maintain client accounts and works, ensuring registration-readiness.
• Learn and use the copyright department’s data tools.
• Support registration processes, protocols, and timelines.
• Work with JIRA and related platforms.
• Assist with large-scale projects and catalog deliveries.
• Receive and process deliveries via JIRA to completion.
• Organize and file reports and queries via email, JIRA, and drives.
• Track and provide in-depth feedback on reports.
