Job summary

Conexus seeks an accomplished Controller to lead accounting operations across multiple entities and international jurisdictions. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive financial reporting, audits, and system modernization while partnering with Technology and Finance leadership.

You will oversee revenue recognition, intercompany activity, and global accounting standards, shaping controls and processes for a lean accounting team. CPA required; US GAAP expertise essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting leadership experience.
• CPA (active or inactive) is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience with multi-entity and international accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close across domestic and international entities, including consolidations.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Manage multi-currency accounting and international reporting (US, Canada, UK).
• Serve as accounting authority on revenue recognition, intercompany, and transfer pricing.
• Lead external audits and coordinate cross-border audit requirements.
• Partner with tax on transfer pricing, VAT/GST and indirect taxes.
• Develop accounting policies, controls, and standardized processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A to support reporting and forecasting.
• Drive finance transformation, automation, and AI-enabled improvements.
• Work with Technology on ERP enhancements and system implementations.
• Oversee outsourced accounting resources for accuracy and efficiency.
