Scale’s Generative AI business unit is experiencing historic growth. As Contributor Experience Manager, Community you will spearhead initiatives connecting hundreds of thousands of expert contributors on our platform.

This is a strategic operator, program manager, and writer role requiring entrepreneurial mindset and rigorous communication across internal and external channels. You will manage communications, execute virtual campaigns and events, and develop strategies to grow and retain our

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, or project management.
• Proven experience managing active, large-scale communities on Slack/Discord/Discourse.
• Flawless spelling/grammar; clear, concise, tone-appropriate writing.
• Ability to synthesize complex details into accessible content.
• Data-driven mindset with capability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies.
• Willingness to execute operational tasks directly to achieve outcomes.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.

Responsibilities

• Create strategies to increase participation and satisfaction across platforms.
• Develop systems to channel questions, feedback, and disputes.
• Lead with vision and set direction for multi-team areas.
• Organize virtual events and monitor community sentiment to mitigate risk.
• Leverage feedback and metrics to improve product and operations.
• Enable the team by fostering ownership and removing blockers.
• Collaborate with operations, support, communications, marketing, and legal.
• Draft communications ensuring consistent contributor messaging.
