Job summary

Scale AI’s Generative AI unit is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to connect hundreds of thousands of expert contributors and drive engagement across platforms. You’ll own communications, run virtual campaigns and events, and shape the contributor experience while aligning with business objectives.

You’ll lead multi-team initiatives, translate feedback into actionable product and operations insights, and ensure consistent messaging across Slack, Discord, Discourse and other channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, finance, or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in communications, marketing operations, field operations, program management, or project management.
• Proven experience managing active, large-scale communities on Slack, Discord or Discourse.
• Exceptional communication skills with flawless spelling and grammar.
• Ability to synthesize complex details into accessible content.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and adapt strategies.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.

Responsibilities

• Create strategies to increase participation and satisfaction across platforms.
• Develop systems to channel questions, feedback, and disputes.
• Lead with vision and set direction for multi-team areas.
• Organize virtual events to foster connection and monitor sentiment.
• Leverage feedback and metrics to drive product and operation improvements.
• Enable the team and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate with operations, support, communications, marketing, and legal.
• Draft all communications to contributors with consistent messaging.
