Job summary

The Specialty Coffee Association is seeking a contract recruiter to screen candidates and coordinate hiring for global roles. The role entails minimal sourcing, primarily evaluating applicants and managing the hiring process, with a preference for Eastern time zone alignment.

Expect about 10 hours per week over a three-month contract, supporting interview scheduling and candidate communication across time zones. This position offers flexibility and exposure to a global talent network.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting and screening candidates for global roles.
• Strong interviewing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and follow through independently.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems and coordinating across time zones.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Eastern time zone location preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review applications and identify candidates who meet position requirements.
• Conduct initial phone or video screens to assess qualifications, interest, and alignment with the role.
• Provide concise candidate summaries and recommendations to hiring managers.
• Schedule interviews across time zones and coordinate communication with candidates and interview teams.
• Collect interview feedback, track next steps, and follow up to keep the process moving.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct targeted sourcing when needed.
• Support offer coordination and the transition to onboarding.
