Job summary

Harbor seeks a Director of Global Compliance to establish and evolve the company's global compliance program. Reporting to the General Counsel, this role builds governance, policies, controls, and an operating framework to support rapid growth while keeping compliance a strategic business enabler.

As the sole compliance leader, you will develop policies, conduct investigations, implement processes, deliver training, build reporting, and partner with leaders across the business in a remote USA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8-12+ years of progressive compliance, legal, ethics, or regulatory experience.
• Experience building or transforming a corporate compliance program.
• Experience supporting global organizations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong experience developing governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated success leading internal investigations and ethics programs.
• Experience developing enterprise compliance training and awareness initiatives.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Build Harbor's global compliance function with governance, policies, and controls.
• Lead internal investigations and ethics matters, including whistleblower processes.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and reporting dashboards.
• Support growth through mergers & acquisitions with post-close plans and integration playbooks.
• Design scalable operating processes and KPIs for enterprise-wide compliance.
