Expeditors, a Fortune 500 global logistics leader headquartered in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a seasoned Legal Services Director (Compliance) to design and govern the company’s global compliance program across its international network. The role collaborates with senior leadership to drive strategy, training, and risk mitigation across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree required.
10+ years of legal experience with significant corporate compliance responsibility.
Experience in top law firm and/or in-house legal department preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on global compliance issues across Expeditors’ international network.
Lead and manage regulatory matters, investigations, and audits including budgets and reporting to Legal leadership.
Design, implement, and maintain compliance policies, standards, and internal controls.
Develop targeted compliance training for employees, managers, and executives.
Advise on import/export controls, sanctions, anti-corruption, and regulatory matters.
Lead cross-functional projects with Internal Audit, Finance, IT, and operations.
