Job summary

Expeditors, a Bellevue, WA-based Fortune 500 logistics leader, seeks a Corporate Counsel – Transactions to support the Global Legal Services team. You will manage entities, treasury operations, and litigation matters for a public company with operations in 100+ countries.

This role partners with Finance, Product, and Tax to deliver practical, risk-aware guidance. You will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, handle cross-border issues, and contribute to legal operations.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor or equivalent degree and active U.S. license.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Experience working with business clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

Serve as global lead for entity management and related governance matters.
Negotiate and draft a broad range of commercial agreements for Expeditors' worldwide operations.
Provide practical legal guidance to cross-functional teams including Finance, Product, Tax, and Treasury.
Identify risks and develop business-focused solutions; manage outside counsel relationships.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Legal Department.
