Job summary

WP Engine seeks a Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and evolve our worldwide compensation programs. You will lead cash, bonus, and equity strategies while ensuring pay transparency across regions, including EU and US regulations.

You will transform our function using AI-enabled tools, shape job architectures for a distributed workforce, and advise executives on strategy, offers, and integration during M&A.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in compensation, preferably in high-tech/SaaS environments.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory environments.
• Strong ability to model compensation scenarios and analyze data.
• Proven ability to influence and present to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business goals.
• Own global pay transparency readiness, including regulatory requirements.
• Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling for hires.
• Develop global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise executives on compensation decisions, org design, and offers.
• Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for talent
