Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead the design, execution, and evolution of our global compensation programs. You will drive pay strategies, transparency initiatives, and equity design in a distributed, remote-first environment.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and collaboration with executives across a worldwide workforce. You will roll up your sleeves in Workday, shape job architectures, support M&A integrations, and implement next-gen

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS industry.
Hands-on configuration experience in Workday Advanced Compensation.
Global knowledge of compensation structures, international market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Strong modeling, data analysis, and financial planning skills using advanced tools.
Ability to influence, consult with, and present to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Responsibilities

Lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Champion global pay transparency, ensuring EU/US compliance.
Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity cycles using Workday Advanced Compensation.
Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with Total Rewards team.
Design global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures.
Advise executives and partners on compensation decisions and talent retention.
Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation.
