Job summary

Twilio is seeking a Compensation Manager to collaborate with Go-to-Market, Marketing, Global Sales and Operations to design, implement, and manage compensation programs for top technical talent. The role influences benchmarking, job framework decisions, offers, promotions, and pay equity analyses.

You will report to the Sr. Director of Compensation and partner with the People team and external stakeholders to drive scalable, compliant compensation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant compensation experience, preferably supporting technical organizations.
• Experience with equity compensation structures at a publicly traded company.
• Excellent project management and compensation program design skills.
• Strong compensation analytics background (modeling, dashboards) and advanced spreadsheets.
• Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday).
• Experience with market pricing and survey participation.
• Understanding of sales compensation plans and on-target earnings (OTE).
• Knowledge of HR products and talent strategies for attraction, engagement and retention.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate corporate compensation programs including annual and promotion cycles, pay equity reviews and market calibrations.
• Design scalable compensation structures and methodologies with global expansion in mind; create training materials for leaders.
• Create dynamic compensation models and dashboards; provide insights and actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to address evolving business needs and drive automated solutions.
• Own compensation products end-to-end with a customer-centric mindset.
• Develop policies and processes that enable growth while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
• Partner with HR and senior leaders to translate operational issues into scalable solutions.
