Job summary

Alarm.com seeks a Lead Compensation Analyst to own global market pricing, equity modeling, and compensation adjustments. You will partner with Executives, HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, and Workday to deliver competitive programs worldwide.

Responsibilities include market pricing, job architecture, RSU modeling, and pay equity analyses. 7–10+ years in compensation and advanced Excel/AI skills are required for this role in Tysons, VA. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in compensation, including market pricing and exposure to executive comp.
• Strong equity experience (RSUs; PSUs; options a plus) and multi-year modeling.
• Global program experience across multiple countries.
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Advanced skills in AI tools
• Knowledge of pay transparency/equity laws (EU PTD; US state/local)
• Excellent communication and executive influence skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Lead market pricing and job architecture analyses for all levels, including executives.
• Price new/emerging jobs (AI/ML) and propose ranges and levels.
• Refine job architecture, leveling, descriptions, and posting ranges with HRBPs/TA.
• Build market ranges using Radford and other sources (Deel/SHRM).
• Lead merit/market/bonus reviews and provide actionable recommendations.
• Advise on compensation adjustments balancing market, equity, and budgets.
• Review offers for range alignment and internal equity.
• Partner with overseas teams to address under-competitive markets.
• Build equity and financial models (RSU allocation, pay mix, multi-year total comp).
• Prepare and communicate equity grant details; review vesting and prorations.
• Run pay equity analyses and support EU/US regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compensation governance and documentation.
• Lead annual compensation in Workday with HRIS team; manage data and dashboards.
