Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Global Commodity Specialist to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across our global operations. You will report to the Global Commodity Senior Manager and drive RFx activities, supplier negotiations, and the deployment of global commodity strategies.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost competitiveness, supplier performance, and supply continuity while navigating ITAR/EAR requirements and international supplier

Qualifications

• Experience leading RFx including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Strong cost analysis and should-cost capabilities.
• Ability to interpret drawings and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes from supplier identification to award.
• Develop global commodity strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through PPV and VA/VE.
• Manage supplier agreements and contract lifecycle activities.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations.
