Ontic is seeking a Global Commodity Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives across its global operations. This remote role reports to the Global Commodity Senior Manager and requires collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and site Supply Chain teams to align commodity strategies with business goals.

You will lead RFx processes, analyze markets, negotiate with suppliers, and support ongoing supplier performance improvements while ensuring alignment with enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing RFx processes (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs).
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities with cost analysis, cost modeling, PPV, VA/VE, or should-cost analysis.

Responsabilités

• Lead and execute strategic sourcing projects under the direction of the Global Commodity Senior Manager.
• Manage end-to-end RFx processes: supplier identification, market analysis, bid solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations.
• Support global sourcing initiatives including supplier consolidation, resourcing, and license support.
