Ontic seeks a Global Commodity Specialist to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier management across global sites. You will lead RFx activities, analyze markets, and develop commodity strategies aligned with business objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 3–7 years in strategic sourcing, strong negotiation and ERP/BI skills, and the ability to travel ~30%. This role supports Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3–7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or supply chain within manufacturing; aerospace/defense preferred.
• Experience managing RFx processes (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data tools (Excel, Power BI).

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end RFx processes and supplier selections.
• Develop and deploy global commodity strategies.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities via PPV/VA-VE and should-cost analyses.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and manage contract lifecycle.
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, service.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Provide market intelligence to stakeholders.
