Job summary

Watts is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to develop and execute long-term category strategies for data center infrastructure. The role partners with Engineering, Operations, and Product Management to drive cost efficiency and supplier excellence while supporting global growth.

The position is remote within the United States, ideally near North Andover, MA, with domestic and international travel as required. 7+ years in strategic sourcing and ERP proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Experience working across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Product Management.
• Proven success delivering productivity improvements through strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
• Experience developing category strategies and supplier relationship management programs.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and commercial leadership skills.
• Experience with global sourcing and low-cost-country initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for valves and related components for data center markets.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Product Management on cost initiatives and early supplier engagement.
• Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement via SRM, negotiations, and long-term partnerships.
• Deliver annual productivity targets through sourcing, negotiations, value engineering, and base-supply optimization.
• Utilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and digital tools to improve sourcing decisions.
• Uphold Watts' values and travel as required by business needs.
