Job summary

ByteDance seeks a resource management project manager to oversee the full lifecycle of global cloud resource delivery, including deployment, optimization, and supplier coordination. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer-related fields.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Extremely detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Proficient in English for work with cloud providers.

Responsibilities

• As the Owner, deploy ByteDance's global cloud resource infrastructure.
• Collaborate with capacity planning, network, engineering, operations, procurement, supply chain, and finance to deliver resources.
• Manage multiple suppliers, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues; deliver on plan, cost, and quality.
• Lead standardization of global project management processes and optimize deployment methods to shorten delivery cycles.
• Collaborate on server generation transition, verify new platform environment, and plan End-of-Life for old servers.
• Optimize interfaces between teams and promote recycling and reuse of underutilized machines.
