Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or scientific field (RN acceptable).
• 12+ years pharma/clinical research experience.
• 10+ years leading global clinical studies and teams.
• Experience in risk management and strategic execution.
• Coaching/mentoring and people management skills (remote ok).
• Expertise in ICH, Global Regulations, Ethics and Compliance.
• Involvement in initiatives advancing clinical operations strategies.
• Experience from study initiation through Phase 4 in multiple studies.

Responsibilities

• Integral member of the Pipeline Commercialization Model’s Integrated Evidence Strategy Team.
• Develops clinical operational strategy aligned with asset strategy; leads execution of studies/programs.
• Evaluates risks and mitigations; proposes strategic options to Asset Strategy Team.
• Influences cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives within Development Operations.
• Contributes to portfolio planning with cost, resource projections, and timelines.
• Reviews clinical operations content for INDs, IBs, NDAs, BLAs, MAAs, and Regulatory Briefing Books.
• Owns external budget management across the portfolio (up to $200M).
• Leads cross-functional innovation and process improvements with significant business impact.
• Mentors 4–15 study managers and up to 30 indirect staff; fosters inclusive environment.
• Ensures compliance with ICH/GCP and global regulations.
