Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Clinical Operations Program Director to connect science and operations across multiple clinical studies. You will provide strategic leadership, manage large budgets, and mentor a broad team to deliver programs on time and within regulatory standards.

In this senior role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence asset strategy, and drive process improvements with a global mindset to support AbbVie’s development portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in nursing or scientific field; RN acceptable.
• 12+ years pharma-related/clinical research experience.
• 10 years leading global clinical studies with strategy and execution.
• Strong risk management, decision-making and data-driven focus.
• Excellent communication and coaching/mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Develops the clinical operational strategy and executes studies/programs.
• Lead and align cross-functional teams to maximize asset value.
• Manage budgets, resources and timelines for development programs.
• Provide regulatory and clinical operations input to documents.
• Mentor staff and foster an inclusive, innovative environment.
• Ensure compliance with ICH/GCP and global regulations.
