Job summary

Goodwin Procter is seeking a pro‑active professional to join the Global Operations Team in Boston. You will support day‑to‑day marketing and client development for the Technology practice, manage CRM data, and help coordinate events and initiatives across attorneys and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, strong MS Office skills, and an interest in marketing or client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with exposure to client development or marketing via internships or entry‑level roles.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable with databases and reporting tools; AI tools use is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of business development initiatives for the Technology practice with attorneys and internal teams.
• Develop knowledge of legal marketing, market trends, attorneys, and client priorities to support outreach.
• Provide operational and data support for client development, CRM maintenance, and basic reporting.
• Coordinate practice group meetings, communications, and follow‑up actions for consistent execution.
• Assist with events, invitations, RSVP tracking, logistics, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Gather competitive intelligence and market research with the marketing research team for pitches and client development.
