Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Client Development Assistant for the Technology group to bolster the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. You will provide data, process, and coordination support for CRM accuracy, reporting, and client initiatives, working with attorneys and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, organization, and proactive support for relationship-building, content maintenance, and efficient processes across the technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with exposure to client development or marketing preferred.
• Law firm or professional services experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable with databases and reporting tools.
• Experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of business development initiatives for the Technology practice by collaborating with attorneys and internal teams.
• Develop knowledge of legal marketing, market trends, and client priorities to support outreach.
• Provide operational and data support for client development, including CRM data management and reporting.
• Coordinate practice group meetings, internal communications, and follow-up actions for consistent execution.
• Support events and outreach, including invitation management, RSVP tracking, and logistics.
• Gather competitive intelligence and market research with the marketing team to support pitches and events.
• Maintain organized files, templates, tools, and systems to support business development processes.
