Job summary

M.C. Dean, headquartered in Tysons, VA, seeks a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruiting for DoD/IC cleared professionals across CONUS and OCONUS programs.

The role focuses on sourcing, screening, and placing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems experts for government and critical infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience focused on U.S. Government clearances (TS/SCI).
• Proven ability to hire critical facility technicians for CONUS and OCONUS operations.
• Strong understanding of DoD and IC clearance processes and deployment requirements.
• Experience with government contracting recruiting compliance (OFCCP) and major ATS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle recruiting for TS/SCI, CI Poly, and Full-Scope Poly cleared candidates across CONUS and OCONUS government programs.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building systems, and facilities maintenance for domestic and overseas projects.
• Support recruiting for OCONUS deployments and readiness for austere environments.
• Partner with Program Managers, Facility Operations leadership, Security Officers, and OCONUS deployment coordinators on staffing and clearance prerequisites.
• Develop sourcing strategies using clearance-focused job boards, referrals, social platforms, military outreach, and proactive engagement with candidates for OCONUS deployments.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, IC, OSHA, HR/OFCCP, and international deployment regulations throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
• Conduct screening, interview coordination, compensation analysis, and offer negotiations in alignment with contract and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and ATS workflows (Taleo, iCIMS, Workday, Bullhorn).
• Advise hiring managers on talent availability and market conditions for CONUS and OCONUS technical trades.
