Job summary

Encore Capital Group, including Midland Credit Management, seeks a Senior Director, Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) to lead the governance of risk and compliance programs. You will design, implement and evolve the CMS and ERM, coordinating with the Board, regulators, and senior leaders to identify and mitigate risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of compliance and risk management principles.
• Deep understanding of debt collection industry and consumer protection laws.
• Strong analytical and operational skills to assess data and make decisions.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication with regulators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee CMS and ERM programs across the organization.
• Develop risk governance and reporting for senior management and the Board.
• Advise on First Line of Defense for risk oversight.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations and manage issues and remediation.
