Job summary

AGCO Corporation, headquartered in Duluth, GA, seeks a VP, Chief Accounting Officer to lead the global accounting and controllership function from our on-site headquarters. The role reports to the CFO and drives strategy, policy, and the integrity of financial reporting.

You will oversee close cycles, external reporting, and complex accounting matters while shaping governance and process excellence across the organization. 4 days/week on-site presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible financial management experience in complex, global, publicly traded companies.
• Experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, SEC reporting, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Executive-level experience with C-suite, Board, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting and controllership strategy and governance.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual close, consolidation, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SEC requirements, and internal controls.
• Provide accounting guidance on acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets.
• Partner with executives and external auditors on financial reporting.
