AGCO is seeking a VP, Chief Accounting Officer to lead the global accounting and controllership function from our Duluth, GA headquarters. You will drive enterprise-wide accounting strategy, governance, and technical accounting across the organization, ensuring strong internal controls and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively responsible financial management experience in complex, global, publicly traded companies.
• Significant experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, SEC reporting, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Executive-level experience working with C-suite, Boards of Directors, external auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead global accounting strategy and governance for AGCO and Finance priorities.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual close, consolidation, and external reporting under US GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Direct technical accounting research, standards assessments, and policy implementation.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Provide accounting support for acquisitions, divestitures, and capital-markets activities.
