Job summary
Databricks seeks an experienced attorney to lead international partner and channel programs within our go-to-market legal team. You will draft, negotiate, and manage partner agreements across jurisdictions while aligning with regulatory and business needs.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in-house or at a law firm in high-growth tech, with strong contract drafting, data privacy, information security, and IP knowledge. Reports to the VP, International General Counsel in a hybrid role.
Qualifications
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 8+ years in-house or law firm experience in high-growth tech.
- Proven ability to develop partner programs across jurisdictions.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of data privacy, information security, AI, and IP.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate partner agreements across jurisdictions.
- Lead or assist negotiations with strategic partners.
- Develop and evolve channel programs with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee compliance related to channel development and contracting.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and address policy gaps.
- Deliver training on ethics and compliance for partners.
- Collaborate with commercial counsel, operations, and business units.
