Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced attorney to lead international partner and channel programs. You will report to the VP, International General Counsel and focus on program development across jurisdictions in a hybrid role with in-office expectations in Seattle, Bellevue, San Francisco, Mountain View, or New York.

You bring 8+ years in-house or with a law firm, strong negotiation and drafting skills, and expertise in data privacy, information security, AI, and IP.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 8+ years of legal experience in tech go-to-market environments.
• Proven ability to develop and implement partner programs across jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
• Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
• Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguity and provide sound legal judgment.
• Programmatic mindset with experience managing multi-faceted projects.
• Deep experience in channel/partner model development and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate partner agreements; manage engagements to align with regulatory and business needs.
• Lead or assist negotiations with strategic partners for scalable alliance networks.
• Develop/launch and evolve partner programs with cross-functional partners.
• Support channel distribution models and tech partnerships to meet growth objectives.
• Oversee compliance related to channel development across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct risk assessments and update programs to align with internal policies.
• Create and deliver ethics and compliance training for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal, operations, and business units to enable scalable transactions.
