Job summary

AstraZeneca GmbH is seeking a Strategy and Commercial Executive Director for Cell Therapy Strategy and Commercial. You will shape end-to-end strategy across a defined indication, lead global commercial initiatives, and partner with Therapeutic Areas on clinical strategy, pricing, and launch readiness.

You will work with senior leaders to define asset strategies, build evidence from real-world data, and guide cross-functional execution across GCSH, Medical Affairs, and Clinical Strategy teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or higher with 10+ years in life sciences or related consulting roles.
• MS/MBA with 8+ years in life sciences or consulting.
• PhD or MD with 5+ years in life sciences or consulting.
• Ability to communicate with senior executive teams; lead and influence professionals.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive end-to-end strategy for a defined indication within Cell Therapy.
• Lead global commercial and strategic initiatives including BD and competitive intelligence.
• Collaborate with Therapeutic Areas on clinical strategy and launch readiness.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and ensure cross-functional execution.
• Build disease-area strategy content with cross-functional teams.
