Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Director, Global Marketing for Cell Therapy to shape and drive the global commercial strategy across multiple indications. You will translate evidence and market needs into differentiated development and commercialization plans, partnering across R&D, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and country teams.

You will lead the creation of launch playbooks, patient pathways, and delivery models, ensuring commercial considerations are embedded throughout

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare across brand marketing, sales, market research, analytics or commercial leadership.
• Direct cell therapy, gene therapy or advanced therapy experience; global exposure is a plus.
• Experience leading multiple indications simultaneously and pre-launch to launch.
• Global commercial experience across major markets is an advantage.
• Strong ability to translate evidence and market insights into development and commercialization plans.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and develop compelling business cases.
• Bachelor's in science; advanced degree preferred (MBA/PhD/PharmD).

Responsibilities

• Develop the global brand strategy and launch plan for Cell Therapy, including positioning and go-to-market model.
• Build global capabilities, customer journeys, and treatment delivery models to support launch readiness.
• Translate global strategy into implementation plans for regions and priority markets.
• Partner with Medical, Market Access, Clinical, Regulatory, Analytics, Manufacturing, and country teams.
• Integrate insights into development, regulatory and portfolio decisions.
• Serve as the commercial SME to enable markets and partners to execute strategy and launch playbooks.
• Track launch-readiness, site activation, and customer experience; provide KPI insights.
• Maintain brand consistency and manage the global brand budget and agency relationships.
