The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with the potential for events and base access tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Background in customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment with attention to detail.
• Basic office management and clerical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Must pass background check and meet ILS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative support to prospects and students and ensure QA standards.
• Document student contact in UMGC CRM and schedule follow-ups.
• Maintain open communications with host Education Services Officer and staff.
• Organize local Education Fairs, Open Houses and other events representing UMGC.
• Track class enrollments and student interest to inform scheduling; ensure classroom space and tech are adequate.
• Aid processing military documentation (Tuition Assistance vouchers, IDs, orders).
• Distribute marketing materials at locations where permissible.
• Assist with base access as needed.
• Provide facility support: open/close labs, ensure labs/rooms are clean and stocked.
• Other duties as assigned.
