Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) Europe seeks a Program and National Test Center Coordinator in Ansbach, Germany with weekly travel to Illesheim. This full-time role supports academic, administrative and testing services, community outreach and CRM management for current and prospective students.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, strong customer service experience and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or foreign degree equivalent
• Background in customer service
• Able to work in a fast-paced and complex environment with accurate attention to detail
• Possess basic office management and clerical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to pass background check and meet ILS requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide students with superior customer service as an advocate and advisor throughout the academic cycle.
• Promote and support UMGC services including hybrid classes, testing services, and university events at site(s).
• Provide operational and administrative duties to maintain offices and test centers as required.
• Maintain and expand knowledge with UMGC CRM databases (Salesforce, PeopleSoft, etc.).
• Document all student contact in the CRM and schedule follow-ups.
• Provide daily customer service in person and via phone,email, CRM, and video communications.
• Maintain positive relationships with ESO, counselors, military partners, and equivalents; brief military representatives on UMGC programs.
• Organize and participate in local outreach activities (Education Fairs, Open Houses, etc.).
• Track and analyze class enrollments and local degree progression for scheduling; assist instructors with base access and classroom readiness.
• Assist with processing students’ military documentation (TA forms, orders).
• Distribute marketing materials at locations where permissible.
• Execute site-specific outreach plans to support recruitment and retention.
• Provide National Test Center testing services and maintain NTC trainings/certifications.
• Participate in staff meetings and training; track monthly statistics and provide reports.
