Job summary

Arrowhead Automotive is seeking a Business Development Specialist in the United States to drive new business, support marketing activities, and contribute to promotions. Commercial property and casualty insurance experience is a plus.

You will work with the Vice President of Business Development and the Commercial Lines Manager to expand our customer base, analyze accounts for cross-sell opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in generating new business and marketing/promotional activities.
• Cross-sell/account rounding experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to build relationships with key decision-makers in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities with VP of Business Development and Commercial Lines Manager.
• Analyze current customer accounts and identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Management to review in-force accounts for cross-selling.
• Develop relationships with decision-makers on existing accounts to deepen engagement and referrals.
• Generate new business leads from lost accounts, industry listings, networking and referrals.
• Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline.
• Manage a portfolio of lost accounts and develop strategies to win back business.
• Stay updated on industry trends and insurance policy changes.
• Understand multiple rating platforms through national and regional carriers.
