Bionova Scientific LLC seeks a dynamic Director/Sr Director of Business Development to drive commercial growth for Plasmid DNA CDMO services and related protein CDMO solutions. The role requires expertise in gene therapies, cell line development, and GMP manufacturing, with a proven sales track record in the biopharma sector.

The position is remote within the US (preferably East Coast) with up to 40–50% travel to client sites, events, and partner facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a Life Science field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in life science, biologics, or CDMO sectors preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets in plasmid DNA and viral vector markets.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
• Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM tools.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with biotech/biopharma clients developing gene therapies.
• Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to build brand presence.
• Collaborate with Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance to align proposals.
• Provide regular forecasts and strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Travel up to 40-50% within the USA.
