Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Project Engineering team is seeking a Project Engineer to support design, build and configuration of production equipment and systems across our facilities.

You will contribute technical expertise on new media initiatives and help advance our media and production infrastructure. You will design and plan production systems, collaborate with Operations and other engineering groups, create documentation, track equipment against orders and assist with demos, training,

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Broadcast Project Engineering, Broadcast/ Production system design, Broadcast/ Production Project management, or similar industry.
• Experience with SD/HD/UHD video standards and digital transport streams (NDI, SRT, etc.).
• Understanding of software defined video networking and ST-2110 routing.
• Cloud-based tech (AWS/Azure) familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and planning of new and upgraded production systems at WBD, including budget tracking and scheduling.
• Collaborate with Operations to gather requirements, conceptualize design and manage deployment of new systems.
• Work with Engineering groups to install, commission new systems.
• Create and maintain engineering SOPs, CAD drawings, and user manuals.
