Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Global Project Engineer to lead design, planning, and deployment of production systems at facilities worldwide. This role supports equipment purchases, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-team collaboration to deliver reliable broadcast and post-production infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, deep knowledge of SD/HD/UHD standards, and experience with AutoCAD, editing systems, and cloud platforms. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years experience in Broadcast Project Engineering, Broadcast/ Production system design, Broadcast/ Production Project management.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2018+ and Windows/Office/SharePoint.
• Understanding SD/HD/UHD, video standards and streaming protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan new and upgraded production systems, track budget and schedule.
• Gather requirements with Operations and manage deployment of new systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering groups to install and commission new systems.
• Maintain engineering SOPs, CAD drawings, and project templates.
• Track equipment against purchase orders and verify receipt.
• Evaluate new technology and recommend equipment/software.
• Assist with demos and training for equipment/software.
• Interface with vendors, clients and internal teams.
• Provide support to production staff.
• Share knowledge with other teams and facilities.
