Job summary

AESC US LLC is seeking a Direct Procurement Manager to lead the BESS category across multiple battery components. The role focuses on developing commodity strategies, driving cost reduction, and aligning with global supply bases while ensuring regulatory compliance and ESG standards.

The successful candidate will partner with global teams to shape sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and execute agreements to support plant capacity and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in supply chain, business administration, industrial engineering, economics or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement, logistics/transportation, supply chain, finance, operations or related fields (battery, automotive, manufacturing preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and SAP

Responsibilities

• Develop the commodity strategy for BESS and ensure competitive costing
• Work with global procurement team to analyze value chain partnership structures and investment opportunities
• Lead business case development for BESS including cost, timing, localization, and risk
• Execute MOUs and sourcing agreements to support plant capacity needs
• Establish ESG baseline measurements and drive supplier audits and corrective actions
