Ford Energy is seeking a Sr, Group Manager – Direct Procurement to lead the direct materials procurement for BESS components, including power electronics, thermal systems, battery packs, enclosures, and balance-of-plant items. You will build a scalable, cost-competitive supply chain with strong supplier partnerships and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Admin or Engineering is required.
• 10+ years of direct procurement and strategic sourcing experience.
• 3+ years of people leadership in procurement teams.
• 3+ years in automotive, BESS, power electronics, or high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the direct procurement department and set sourcing strategy.
• Manage supplier partnerships and multi-million-dollar portfolios.
• Drive cost reductions and TCO improvements.
• Govern procurement processes, budgets, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Legal, Logistics.
• Escalate supplier disputes and ensure continuity.
