Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Procurement Manager (U.S.) based in Philadelphia to own the full electrical procurement scope for BESS and utility-scale solar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field; CPSM/CIPS certifications are a plus.
• 8+ years of procurement experience; 4+ years buying electrical equipment for large-scale renewables.
• Direct experience purchasing BESS and/or solar PV equipment (modules, inverters, trackers, etc.).
• Proven ownership of high-value, long-lead equipment packages from RFQ to delivery and closeout.
• Experience negotiating and administering complex supply agreements and MSAs.
• Knowledge of U.S. trade, tariffs, domestic content rules and origin documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the U.S. electrical category strategy for BESS and solar, including negotiation and lead-time approvals.
• Lead sourcing of major equipment and build a qualified supplier base globally.
• Consolidate demand across the U.S. project pipeline and secure capacity and pricing.
• Lead negotiation and execution of MSAs, framework agreements, and supply POs; coordinate with Legal.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures; act as final escalation point; report KPIs.
