Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Global Benefits to lead the global benefits strategy for a high-growth technology organization in San Francisco. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, and systems teams to support delivery across regions and employee populations.

You will drive financial discipline, vendor performance, and engaging benefits experiences that support retention and recruitment, while ensuring compliance with global labor laws and integrating benefits across the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR/Total Rewards experience with 5+ years leading global benefits strategy.
• Proven track record in managing global broker partnerships and vendor pricing.
• Deep financial acumen with experience in multi-million-dollar global budgets.
• Expertise in US health & welfare systems with knowledge of EMEA and APAC benefits structures.
• Familiarity with HRIS tools and AI-driven technologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year global benefits strategy aligned with business objectives
• Serve as a subject matter expert on global benefits trends and cost strategies
• Manage relationships with global brokers and vendors to ensure service delivery and competitive pricing
• Oversee benefits operations including annual open enrollment and system integrations
• Ensure compliance with global labor laws and regulations
• Lead benefits due diligence and integration for M&A activities
• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure plan health and employee engagement
