Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Global Benefits Manager to design, administer, and continuously improve our benefits programs across all global hubs. You will ensure competitive, compliant offerings while managing vendor relationships and driving process efficiency.

The role requires managing benefits across AMER, APAC, and EMEA, partnering with Legal and HR teams to ensure compliance, and leading open enrollment with ongoing employee education. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing global employee benefits programs.
• Experience with multi-country/global scope in AMER, APAC, and EMEA.
• Experience managing vendor and broker relationships, including contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage benefits programs across all global hubs, ensuring local compliance and competitiveness.
• Manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers, and vendors globally, negotiating renewals and evaluating new offerings.
• Partner with Legal and regional HR teams to ensure benefits programs comply with local labor and tax regulations.
• Lead annual open enrollment processes and ongoing employee benefits education and communication.
• Analyze benefits utilization and cost trends, providing recommendations to leadership on plan design and budget.
• Manage leave-of-absence programs and ensure consistent, compliant administration across regions.
• Respond to employee questions and escalations related to benefits, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Continuously benchmark Sonar's benefits offerings against market practice to support talent attraction and retention.
