Job summary

Apollo Global Management, Inc. seeks a strategic Benefits Director to lead the design, execution, and evolution of a global benefits program. You will drive competitive plans across geographies, ensuring compliance and alignment with business objectives.

You will partner with senior leaders, manage vendor relationships, and lead benefits initiatives including health, retirement, wellness, and family-building programs, while leveraging AI tools to enhance employee experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in benefits
• Global benefits program experience
• Expertise in benefits compliance, retirement plans, governance
• Experience leading M&A integrations and vendor management
• Advanced knowledge of HRIS platforms, preferably Workday
• Executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive innovation

Responsibilities

• Design and lead global benefits programs across multiple geographies
• Partner with senior leadership to present plan design recommendations and governance updates
• Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
• Lead due diligence and integration for M&A activities in benefits
• Oversee health, retirement, wellness, and family-building programs
• Manage vendor relationships and benefits communications and education
• Drive adoption of AI tools and digital solutions to enhance employee experience
• Oversee Open Enrollment and benefits administration in HRIS (Workday)
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international regulations
• Govern retirement program governance including 401(k) audits and reporting
• Administer leave of absence programs and serve as escalation point for complex employee matters
