Job summary

Engine by Starling is seeking a proactive Business Development Lead to shape North American growth from our NY metro or Charlotte HQ, partnering with banks and fintechs. You’ll own client relationships, run workshops, and guide opportunities from discovery through delivery, collaborating with product, engineering, and partners to craft scalable, long-term propositions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a reputable consulting organisation, bank or fintech
• Built network in the banking space and able to utilise contacts
• Experience in financial services, retail or business banking, and IT systems context

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with potential clients across NA region
• Lead client workshops, demos and discovery sessions with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape client solutions
• Drive go-to-market strategies and partner with implementation teams
• Own strategic opportunities and advocate for clients throughout the engagement
• Manage commercial and contractual conversations and negotiations
