Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Banking industry senior solution architect to drive worldwide AWS adoption in banking globally. You will collaborate with C-level and business executives to map regulatory needs to AWS services, define reference architectures, and build industry accelerators.

You will lead engagements with some of the world’s largest banking customers, shaping cloud adoption strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• Experience within technology domains such as cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Worldwide Banking team to drive marketing, sales, and technical strategies for the Banking industry.
• Coach sales teams on AWS services relevant to banking customers.
• Understand the unique technical requirements of banking customers and guide adoption of AWS services for large customers.
• Work directly with customers to accelerate business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures.
• Lead technical solutions discussions, crafting scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Define and execute strategy with technical teams including Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, and consulting/partners.
• Act as a thought leader, educating the community, presenting at events, and authoring white papers and blogs.
